Start Menu & Button not working in Windows 10

Before you proceed, you may want to create a system restore point first, so that you can revert back, if you find that the results are not what you expected.

Posting here different solutions I found on Internet :

1&2] Download  Windows 10 Start Menu Troubleshooter from Microsoft ,Run the following command in an elevated command prompt, to run the System File Checker.
sfc /scannow
Restart after the scan is over and see if it helped.
3] Repair Windows Image. Open an elevated CMD copy-paste the following and hit Enter
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Restart after the scan is over and see if it helped.
4] Make Start full screen and back. Enable Tablet Mode and Start Screen and then go back. See if this toggling has helped.  Credit :http://www.thewindowsclub.com

Second Solution :

Just run your task manager (ctrl+alt+del - task manager) find explorer (Windows Explorer(Explorer.exe) click on it and hit del button or right click and end the process. After that your bottom bar should disappear. Hit ctrl+alt+del again in right bottom corner of the screen choose the power button and restart your computer this should fix it.?

 IF YOUR INTERNET DOESN'T WORK AFTER THIS DO THIS.

Control Panel > Administration Tools > Computer Management > Services & Applications > Services. Scroll down until you find 'WLAN Auto Config'. Double click on this to open it, on the drop down menu for startup type, select 'Automatic' an under Service Status click 'start'. Then your WIFI should work again.?

Third Solution :

fix a non-working Windows 10 start button and search box. You need to use task manager and CMD to fix this problem. CMD Commands:dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealthdism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealthsfc /scannow

Fourth Solution :

1. Reinstall Windows appsLaunch the Task manager and open a new PowerShell window with administrative privileges, as explained above.
When the Windows PowerShell window opens copy the line below and paste it into the PowerShell window by simply right-clicking at the blinking PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> prompt, or by pressing [Ctrl] + [V] on the keyboard:
Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}Wait until the app download and installation process completes — ignore any red text that appears — and restart Windows.
